Trick or Treat

Two-panel comic. A homeowner asks three grown trick-or-treaters, Sinestro in a Green Lantern t-shirt, Lex Luthor in a Superman shirt, and the Joker in a Batman costume, if they are a little old for this. Sinestro explains the economy is so bad heroes cannot afford to fight villains anymore, and it did not help that they misunderstood what Occupy Wall Street was all about.

Transcript of “Trick or Treat”

Panel 1. A man holding a cauldron of candy at a door numbered 1701 asks: "Aren't you a little old to Trick or Treat?" On his doorstep stand Sinestro in a Green Lantern logo t-shirt holding a green power battery, Lex Luthor in a black tee with a red S-shield, and the Joker in a Batman costume clutching a pumpkin pail. Sinestro explains: "Look, the economy's been terrible..heroes can't even afford to fight us anymore. We're just doing this to keep ourselves busy." Panel 2. Sinestro adds: "It didn't help that we misunderstood what \"Occupy Wall Street\" was all about." One of the villains mutters: "What a waste of a day..."
