Twilight Prequel

Five-panel comic presenting a Twilight prequel called The One That Got Away. A relentlessly upbeat girlfriend keeps trying to fix her vampire boyfriend, offering makeup for his sparkles and brainstorming solutions to his blood sucking, then blows up over his plan to loiter at high school while she pays the bills. The final panel shows the vampire blissfully alone on the couch, burping at the TV.

Transcript of “Twilight Prequel”

Panel 1. Title card: "The TWILIGHT Prequel: The One That Got Away." A cheery redhead cuddles a brooding vampire. Panel 2. She beams: "Hiya, sweetie! Y'know, a little bit of make up will cover up those nasty sparkles of yours!" He side-eyes her. Panel 3. She muses: "Hmm... Now I was thinking, how can we solve this 'blood sucking' thing of yours?" Panel 4. She explodes: "Oh, so YOU don't age, and have to hide out at high school to blend in"... NOT to hit on high school girls while I'm having to work to support BOTH of us?!?! NOT HAPPENING!!!" The vampire snarls, eyes glowing red. Panel 5. The vampire slouches alone on the couch watching TV and lets out an: "*urp*"
